Default Steering wheel swap

Does any know how easy it is to swap steering wheels on a late model f-body? Do you need a kit or will they bolt right on?

Are you talking about swapping another f body/GM wheel, or an aftermarket wheel (Momo, Sparco, Personal, Grant, etc.)??

If it's an aftermarket wheel, you'll need a hub adapter (Momo # 2401) for everything except the Grant (they have their own, do not know the #).
You will need to turn the adapter down about 1/8" off the back (closest to dash), otherwise it will bind against the steering column when you hunker down on the column's spline bolt.
You will also get an AIRBAG and/or a SERVICE VEHICLE SOON light on the instrument panel when you disconnect/remove the airbag. Maybe someone knows how to get rid of this without destroying/shorting out the instrument panel, but I've never heard it yet. So I just put a piece of black electrical tape over the dash light (UNDER the panel lens) to keep the inspection ***** at bay.
