are you talking about your K&N airfilter?? lol...umm..you clean and re-oil it with the recharge kit that they sell at the auto parts store..just spray a light coating of the oil on there...you dont want to soak it with oil cuz it can get on your MAF sensor..

when you buy the recharge kit at the store..it comes with a cleaner, and the oil for the filter. You spray the cleaner on the filter..let it sit for about 4 or 5 minutes....than rinse the filter with water from the inside out. Let the filter dry over night..than spray the light coating of oil on the filter..After i spray the oil on..i usually let it sit a few hours before i put it in the car..just to make sure the oil has a chance to absorb into the filter media, to try and reduce the chance of any oil getting sucked onto the MAF sensor. And thats all there is to it..its not a complicated process at all..it comes with directions in the box incase your not sure of anything.
