Time for a tune up?
I drive my car daily right now and put about 60 miles a day on the car. I have a lid, cutout and 3500 stall on the car. That is about it for performance mods. I only get 20 mpg with the car the way it is now. I haven't changed the plugs or wires since I've gotten it and the previous owner never did as well from what he told me when I bought it. The car now has about 95,000 miles and I'm sure the plugs need to be changed. It runs perfect and always has since I bought it. I just changed the fuel filter last weekend and I didn't see any gain in mpg after the new one. What plugs do you recommend with my set up as well. Do you think the stall is eating up the mpg? Would driving the car with the cutout open all the time hurt the mpg at all?

yes you lose mpg with the cutouts of course cuz of the irregular flow of air..and with the converter...im assuming you do...prolly because it takes more rpms to put you from 1st to 2nd gear
