tranny mount
i noticed that when im driving my tranny was kinda loose and i looked under it to see that the mount is begining to rip apart. do the stock mounts have some kind of interlocking metal to keep the tranny mount from totaling ripping apart. i want to know if i should not drive it until i can replace the mount because i dont want that thing to jump out of there. does anyone know if it will come apart?

My LS1's stock mount and the stock replacement HAS metal stops to limit travel. This is with an Auto4.
Ow and about the Poly mount. I had one and took it out. Drove like a mac truck.... hated it. The added stiffness can also stress other parts more.
