hek yes that is true, jus tak a look at all the **** that catches on to ur radiator cap form dex cool its lik brown chunks of ****, and it is also corrosive and does clog the system, i switched to green the first day i got my car, jus flush the **** out of the system and take out the resoirvoir and clean that up really good, but no matter how much u clean it there will still be some in the system but thats ok just do ur best, i started seeing some red coolent in my resoirvoir gathering up after a while but its ok better then having it in the radiator and goodluck

I've never had trouble with the dexcool. I've had an 04 Grand Prix, 99 300m (it was the pink ****), and now a 2000 Trans Am. I just flushed my radiator about two weeks ago and refilled with some dexcool. I just treat it like i do the green ****, flush it every 2 years and you should be good to go with whichever you choose
