Default Ls1 Wont Start

Drove Thru A Deep Puddle Of Rain...car Stalled And Wont Start...having It Towed To Garage..what Should We Be Looking For? What Is The Process Of Elimination Here? Thanks Dp

sorry to say but 90% chance that u are screwed. most likely your motor is hydro locked. basically it is full of water and you are probably gonna need a short block, possibly get by with honing and a rebuild. it could be something else but... i told you worst case scenario, but that is usually what happens when people stall in water.

Did it die a few seconds after you drove through it?

... I'd also take it to AutoZone and have em scan it if you don't have a scan tool at home before you panic too much!

yup, youre most likely screwd. time to go for a bigger block

HOW FAST WHERE YOU DRIVING!!!! ...Unless you have an SLP CAI then its pretty ******* diff to get water in there past your filter!
