O2 Sensor Replacement
So I've pulled all my plugs recently, and all of the plugs on the drivers side bank were covered in black soot, and all the plugs on the passenger side look pretty normal(all the plugs only have ~3k on them). I also just got 18 mpg on a pretty long, mainly highway trip, in comparison to where I used to get 25+ mpg.
So I'm thinking the drivers side O2 sensor is toast. Is there anyway to confirm if it's toast, other than if it's throwing a code? I'll probably replace it with one of the Bosch 13111 rear Corvette O2 sensors, but my question is, if I replace one of them with a Corvette sensor, do I need to replace both of them at the same time now?

Oh,.. and to answer your other question,... Nope,.. you don't have to. People use those O2s simply because you don't need the O2 extentions if you buy those.

Well, I crawled underneath the car today since I was changing oil anyway, and discovered that I melted the O2 extension on the drivers side. So I'm going to be replacing that and then I should be good, I'll just be routing it differently to keep it from happening again.
