Default Debris in gas tank

I added some fuel injector cleaner to my gas tank.I could not get the small aluminum seal off the top,so i punched it in with my finger. The seal stuck on the inside neck of the bottle and i thought it would stay there, but after pouring in the cleaner the seal went with it into my gastank. Should i be worried. thanx.

The fuel filter will catch it before it can get anywhere to do any harm. Although the piece may be big enough that it never even makes it that far and instead will be floating around your tank for eternity. To be ultra safe, change your fuel filter sooner rather than later.

No it will never cause an issue. The sock on the fuel intake won't let it go anywhere.
