Heater or AC doesn't work

Heater or AC doesn't work I was driving my car and I realize that the AC didn't get cold. I only blew out cool air. Then I turned on the heat on full blast, it didin't get hot only warm air came out. Any ideas???

When you were testing the heater, what setting did you have it on? Just the lower or upper vents, or the lower vent + windsheild defrost? I ask, because the windshield defroster also runs the A/C, which can mean the air doesn't get as hot with just the heater.

I did notice that my ac clutch doesn't enguage for the ac. but I only had it on the upper and lower vents for the heat. Need another ac compressor before summer though. Is it hard to replace???
