Headlight motors still running after i put my lights down

Headlight motors still running after i put my lights down i need some help. every time i put my headlights off and they go down, the motors continue to run for a little while. whats up with this and how do i fix it?

Yeah i had that problem as well, piece of **** gear got stripped. When ahead and installed the brass gear, but in a few months it took a **** as well. So i said to hell with it, and installed HIDs in my foglights.
