L98 question
Hey everyone, my brother has a 92 Z28 with the l98 just today he said the car sounds different and there is shaking above 2K rpms
I asked him if he was down on power and he said it still feels the same but there is just shaking
When we bought the car a couple months ago and we had a mechanic look at it. he said the spark plugs looked fine so i dont think that is the problem
He runs the car on regular and since it is older I was thinking maybe the distributer is a little gummed up or something?
So what do you think? I haven't actually been in the car yet so im not to sure also, but im thinking its something with the ignition
im thinking the first step would to throw a couple gallons of premium and see what happens
thanks

check timing should be 6 degree advance stock
check plug wires
might be fuel related replace fuel filter, and run at least 91.
check air filters.
I would say check maf but 92 is speed density so no maf.
also do research on www.thirdgen.org since they only do thirdgen related stuff.
