Strange idle issues...
My brother has a 94 Z28 super bone stock. has an airbox, has the stock exhaust nothing is done to the car. Just today it started at idle, started bouncing the idle and then would hold the idle at like 2500 rpms for no reason. Could this be a tensioner pulley or something different.?
There is one small thing though. This coincidently happened the next after installed an aftermarket radio. The radio doesn't work but I think I got a bad wiring harness. Could the radio being hooked up with a bad harness have some strange effect? I really doubt it but I thought I would throw that out there.
Ok figured out radio is not the problem. Replaced the intake hose that was cracked but the car is still doing strange idles where you have to really lay on the brakes to keep the car from moving. The car then also stutters when driven normally. Also this doesn't start until the car is warmed up.

replace your idle control on the throttle body... well clean it first and if that doesnt fix it, change it. make sure you get all oil and grease out of the throttle body.

So I replaced the IAC and now it has hesitation and sputtering problems. I just want to re-acknowledge that this bitch is stock. It'll run fine then it'll just out of nowhere run like crap. Sometimes it throws a coolant level light. Checked the coolant levels and it's fine, no leaks etc. Any ideas?
