Default Ticking vent fan possibly?

Just started tonight, all of a sudden. Only noticed it when i put it on hot and windshield to defog it, and the fan made a clicking noise. It increases depending on fan speed, and works on all settings across the board (both AC and vent, and both hot and cold).

Anyone had this problem?

Any ideas what all i'm looking at replacing, and how long it will take to do so?

Either something got sucked into the blower motor or it's beginning to die. If you take it out and there is nothing in the blower wheel then just order a new one from the general and call it a day. Parts house motors and wheels are junk.

On my gf's car, she had a clunk noise with the fan on. Thought bearings might be going out. Took the blower motor out and there was a dead mouse in there. Took it out, problem solved.

Ok sounds good, hopefully just something stuck. And a dead mouse would be quite a find!

The blower fan in my DD was making noise, took it out and it was full of pine needles. Probabaly something simple like that.

I've had small leaves in mine before.
