Default Seat Stuck

The manual passenger seat in my recently bought '99 Trans Am is stuck. Wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt full forward. If you try to push it back, it dosent want to budge, but went you let off the lever arm it will click the next time you shake it. So it seems like the lever arm is doing its job, so mayby something is in the track?

Thanks

Check underneath for debris stuck in the track, a pen/pencil, something related to hard plastic. You should be able to stick your head underneath and look up and see the track on each side.

Also check the wire that connects to the lever arm--mine popped off once.

Hi there just wondering, did you ever get this fixed? I am having the same issue. My '01 WS6 convertible has just 17k on the odometer and when washing it today the passenger seat just got stuck all the way forward and won't budge. I don't see anything blocking the track.

Any help is truly appreciated

Thanks in advance,
B
