need help with Window "jump"
On my 98 trans am I have replaced the window motor(driver side)and it has been working fine for about a year and then a couple weeks ago when i roll my window down it would start jumping up a little bit and would continue to go down but it continues to "jump" also, i thought it might be the regulator but im not sure if any one has had the same problem and have fixed it let me know, a couple freinds are telling me to lube the regulator?
thanks in advance

Check to make sure the regulator is tight to the door and that all of the other adjustment screws are tight. If its continually jumping, it sounds like you have a loose screw or rivet. If you use bolts to screw in to the window motor, they require thread locker to stay in for the long haul.
While you are in the door, it probably makes sense to lubricate.Sil-Glyde will match up to the grease already in there and help smooth things out. The only place I can find it in my area is NAPA.
