Default blinker flasher replacement

i've read that the flasher is located under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. so i went down there and realized that this car isn't my old 94 jeep wrangler were there were no covers just open wires so as i sat there trying to pry it off i figured i'd ask on here how to get the panel off? pretty stupid question but as i said before i'm coming from a no frills/covers/even air vents that blow on you kind of car so i'm not use to running into these problems...

There are 2 push in pins. Pull those out and the cover will come right off.

Once you get the panel off, it's nice to know where the flasher is...
