Default Car no starting after put in storage?

Well I stored my car in storage about 6 wks ago. I started it about 2 wks ago and it would not crank over. Well alt. is new, and new battery, and battery connector bolts are all good. So I jump it and it starts right up? When I took it to storage it is only about a 2 min drive so the alt. really didn't have time to charge the battery. I then started it again this past weekend and it does not even crank, I also worked on my car before storage, so the battery was disconnected for quite a while. Would you try taking the battery out and placing it on a battery charger over night, and reinstall the battery when it has a full charge and see what happens? The battery wires have no corrrison on them, so what would cause this, it has been bittery cold outside (location is in Lincoln, Nebraska). Thanks guys!

I would have your battery tested to make sure it is still good. I know you said it is new, but new parts fail too. Also, you should have a battery tender on your battery when you put into storage. Your battery will have a much longer life by doing this.

Sounds like maybe a dead cell in the battery, had that happen several times.

I disconnect my battery during storage. Radio clocks, the PCM and alarms always draw power. They draw enough to drain the battery down to nothing after awhile. Also a battery that is not always fully charged when put away will have a shorter life.

Yes I would try taking the battery out and placing it on a charger.
