Default Possibly the stupidest question Ive ever asked

All right i know this is any easy question, but Id rather ask it that screw something up. I know the MAF sensor is between the throttle body and the intake, but which thing between it is it exactly? In chocos seafoam writeup(which is excellent BTW) he says to clean the throttle body. What he says the throttlebody is I was under the impression the MAF was. All im trying to do here is clean the damn thing, and yes I feel like an idiot for asking this question. Anybody who can help this noob out will be appreciated.

This is the maf you have to be careful with it when you clean it. The throttle body is what bolts to the intake manifold.

It goes like this:

air lid -->> MAF (has screen and filaments in it) -->> throttle body (has blade in it) -->> intake manifold

ohh ok, so if its what i think it is i just have to undo four screws and its right there behind the intake. I was under the impression it looked something like a miniture electrical circuit board.

The TB is in between the manifold and the black acordian lookin' thing.

The MAF is between the acordian and the intake lid.
