I was installing my headers and motor mounts a few weeks ago and above the starter on the passenger side of the motor I noticed a sensor that sticks out of the block about halfway up I guess. I was just curious what this sensor is since I have never had to deal with it on my car or any of my buddies cars.

Cool. thanks. Is the cam position sensor in the front of the motor then or is it back there somewhere too?

Cam position sensor is on top of the motor at the rear of the intake.
