Default LT-1 Oil pressure???? Help

Ok Guys i have a 96 formula with the mods found in my signature. I have a small problem. when im running down the road my oil pressure is at bout 40 when light throttle is applied and it gets higher with more throttle. but at idle like at a traffic light or something it drops to about 15 or 20 psi. i was just wondering what is normal oil pressure for an LT-1. also i dont think this is a huge deal but i have had the car about 2 years and when i bought it the previous owner had apparently jacked it up by the oil pan so it has a big dent in it. but im almost positive it is not a big enough dent to affect the pick-up on the oil pump that much. so Any answers would be great.

Sounds about normal for a lt1. My 95 Corvette has about the same oil pressure at idle and cruising. Just your typical LT-1.

My car: Cold idle 50 psi, cruising 40-50 psi, warm idle 20 psi.
