well in my post a couple of weeks ago bout the volt gauge problem, think i figured it out today when i crank up the car and heard a weird whirring sound.. poped the hood and smoke was coming from my alternator.. took it off, and the entire back piece was completely melted.. so that alternator is SHOT lol.. anyway.. now i got a minor issue, one of the alternator bolts broke in the block and its a pain in the butt to get a drill up in there
