Default Gas tank leaking?

Every time I drive I smell gas, on the outside of my gas cap all along the side of my car I can see gas staining my white paint. Only happens when I drive.
I've switched gas caps twice, once to another factory cap off another 94, and then I bought a key locking gas cap. I dont get any kind of pressure when I take the cap off to refill either...
Any suggestions?

Take a picture of it so we can see what it looks like. Is it possible that you are over filling the tank? Year make and model with mileage of the car would help to.

Anyone know if these cars have pressurized gas tanks?

What does the O ring on the cap look like? The one with the key lock is non-vented, right? If your car is OBDII even a small leak will throw an EVAP code.

Will try and take picutes in a few here, at work at the moment.
It's a 1994 trans am lt1, 60,000 miles roughly.
I dont think I'm over filling it, it will still continue to smell and leak outside onto paint even at half a tank or so.
I'll take pictures of the cap as well.

When mine was doing that, it was just a faulty cap, try buying another, sometimes they come faulty from the factory. You can also take the wheel off and the plastic shroud in the wheel-well to examine the filler neck for leaks.

This is a second gas cap I have bought.
Was doing it when I drove it out of the dealership, figured they didnt put it on right or tight enough, bought another one that locks and has a key - worked on my last TA.
