Default No cruise control

hey guys,
My cruise control stoped working and i have no idea where to start really or how the system on this car works. Last week i got new tires put on the rear. (not sure if that is where the sensor is) and then 2 days after that i put a new clutch master cylinder in the car. Between getting the tires and the matster cyl. i dont rember using the cruise control at all. but now when i went to use it it didnt work. I couldnt find any loose wires or conectors.
I was thinking something maybe with the sensor at the top of the clutch pedal.

any ideas?

thanks

matt

There is a switch located on the clutch pedal all the way at the top. This switch is adjustable. When the clutch is engaged (foot not on the clutch pedal) the swith should be completely depressed, if it isn't then there is the problem. This is COMMON after a clutch hydraulics are messed with.

I've had the same issue for over 2 years now, but since I need cruise control about three times a year, I just figured I'd get to it when I get to it. If I had known it was this easy to fix, I would have asked a long time ago.

FYI - Mine stopped working after a clutch/master/slave swap, so it sounds like the exact same issue.

glad you fixed the problem, but just so you know, the cruise box is on the drivers side near the front tire. you get to it from under the car and you have to remove some plastic pieces but it's easy. it's about the size of a brick. just follow the cruise cable from the TB to find it.
