Does r/p really loose it's visciosty?

Default Does r/p really loose it's visciosty?

If so I'm changing but I heard that the car wont really like it changing from r/p to another oil, I'm staying with synthetic I heard that valvoline vr1 is a great oil but I live in florida would 20w 50 be to heavy?

I think 20w-50 is meant for more heavy duty type engines...I would stick with the r/p. Ive been using it and it works fine. only problem is that its kinda expensive $7.29 a freakin quart here in Cali.

royal purple. Ive used it on all my cars and have yet to have any problems, its very good and a FULL synthetic unlike most "synthetic" oil. I wouldnt run 20w50, just stick with 10w30
