question about a alumuminum block, what does b stand for.

question about a alumuminum block, what does b stand for. i got a block from a buddy of mine and where all the motors stay 5.7 ,6.0, 6.2 in back of the block, this block saids B.. just that letter and nothign else, any idea why ?
