Default Is anybody running edelbrock "stepped" headers ??

Im looking at getting the edelbrock 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped race header with the slip on collectors. Just wanted to see if anybody was running them and how they liked them. Any fittment issues, or problems that I need to know???
Tried a search didn't find anything.........

I had a set of the first 25 production batches some 3-4 years ago. I had a big issue with a primary hitting the driver's side engine mount and my coating completely flaked off in the first 20 miles. Edelbrock was really cool about it though. They completely refunded my price along with shipping costs and even paid for me to ship back the header so they could do an investigation on them to see what happened. Supposedly the first batch had some kind of metal bonding issue and a jig was incorrect.

If I was in the market, I'd consider them again.

Ive got em with a set of flowmaster pulsetech collectors on em. They fit fine except for the little drivers side motor mount issue. It touches the pedestal but i dont really hear anything.
