I just bought a SLP air lid for my 02 SS.. after looking at it.. I assume that it is for a 98-99 car because it didnt come with the piece that goes into the side of the lid to connect to the large air hose (i cant recall the name of it).

So i need the piece that goes into the side of the air box that connects to the air hose. I circled it below to give everyone an idea.

Just wanted to let you know that you could stick a little breather filter on the end of your AIR hose and just use the lid as it is if you like.

Is it the elbow (I cant view pics linked to photobucket accounts) ? I have one $10 shipped. I just bought one for $15, then found mine. SLP still sells them but you have to have a $25 minimum order.

Thanks for the replys guys. Unfortunately.. I started taking the stock air box off about 30 minutes before my class started and ran into this.. now that i'm back and its about 30 degrees here.. I believe i'll wait till tomorrow to put the stock box back on for the time being. hehe.. Thanks again guys
