Default fuel injectors on 99 SS

Guys,

The stock injectors are maxed out after recently installing FAST 92. I was looking at new injectors and needed some info.... What # injectors does this year of car come with? I understand the later model cars had larger injectors and was wondering what size injectors would be needed to support 450 rwhp?

The 99-00's had 26.3# injectors. I'm hoping to be around 450rwhp when I get my car back and I went with 36# injectors from fast which equate to a 41# injector on our 60psi fuel system.

On a side note. How do you like the torquer 2 cam? I'm having the same one installed.

I personally like the cam. I think it drives well on the street with minimal surge. The car pulls hard. Mine is on a 112 Lsa and has a nice lope.... As you can see in the sig, the car made 423 at the wheels. That was with the LS1 intake. I installed the FAST 92 (ported) and the car went to 439 rwhp/398 torque on the dyno yesterday. But, the fuel injectors were maxed at 100 percent and the car was running out of fuel. So I think it should be very close, if not, 450 rwhp with new injectors. I think you will like the torquer II and many seem to have good results with the cam... With the right combo I think you would see 450 rwhp. But, I am no expert, lol....

Thanks for the info and good luck...
