Default TB Question

Does anyone know if an 85mm bbk tb will bolt up to an ls6 intake manifold? I am going to buy one, just don't want to end up wasting my money.

Get a ported and save your money. The BBK is an 85mm opening where the intake is a 78mm opening. A ported stocker is good to 78mm.

When you say "a ported stocker is good to a 78mm".Dose that mean that the ported stock TB tappers back down were it meets the intake? I have seen advertised on EBAY and at other local shops that the stock TB can be ported to 90mm. Would that still fit a stock Ls1 intake?

I have heard that, I will probably just wait until I replace the intake mani and go with a fast 90/90 setup.
