Question Intake Manifold Options (best for the money)

So I'm thinking about switching intakes on my car
My mods are in my sig

So on to my questions

Is a ported LS6 intake manifold worth the trouble, I've heard they are hard to port, or don't have much room to port, and the gains are very small over a stock LS6 intake?

Is a ported LS2 intake better then a ported LS6?

And what other options are out there?

I'm trying to find a better intake option over the stock flowing LS6 without spending $800+ on a FAST intake. I would like to stay away from metal intakes as well.

TPIS modifies LS6 intakes for 90mm TB's. There are several threads regarding this where you can find details. IMO, the LS6 intake is the best option on stock cubes, up to 6,300 RPM. I don't see anything in your mod list that would require more than an LS6 intake. As noted, the 90mm LS6 intake is about as good as it gets, within the limits noted.
