Default anywhere local i can pick up GOOD header bolts?

installed hooker lt's last night. one gasket is leaking. i wanna replace it ASAP, but i'd like to replace the bolts at the same time.

i have strauss, 002, carquest, autozone, and napa autoparts stores within 5 miles of my house. also have at least 10 hardware stores.

would any of them have good header bolts in stock that won't break/strip or crossthread?

also something slightly shorter than stock would be great, thanks

The best bolts are the stock ones. The bolts arent your problem, I also have hooker long tubes by the way, with stock bolts. I bought stage 8's and still used the stock ones. It is now pretty much common knowledge that the stock ones work best, they dont really back out and they are a good length.

if you want i'll sell you my stage 8's.

I dont know if you are willing to spend the money but I have ARP header studs and they are amazing and is a one man job to install the headers.

i was looking at the studs but i'd rather just go with bolts.

i'm looking to replace them because they were getting kinda hard to thread at the end. guess i'll go to the dealer and pick up some stock ones.

I found a stud kit at napa right on the little rack thing, worked great. Had to get 2 packages of them though.
