Default Question about header prep?

Quick question. Is it a good idea after i get the headers to take them to a machine shop and spend about 30-40 bucks to have them surfaced (i think thats the word) so they wont leak when you bolt them up to the motor? Or are they supposed to come all ready to bolt on and they shouldnt leak?

Haven't seen any of the headers for these cars have flange problems.

If they are new headers, you should be fine. If they used. Lay them face down on a flat surface to see if they are warped.

Yea, they are new... So, i guess they should be fine to bolt on right out of the box then.

unless theres some glaring indication of some warpage they should be fine. reuse your old gaskets depending on there condition or go pick up some new oem ones as they are the best kind.

tighten everything up and you should have no leaks.
