Default fuel line connection on fuel rail....how to discconect?

i did this a few weeks ago when the intake went on...but i had the special tool to disconnect the line.

now i dont have access to the tool.

how is it removed??

haven't messed with it, so it could be simple, figured i'd ask first.

you need the tool. If you try to do it with screw driver or anything else you will 99% of the time break it and it won't seal right after that. There are four tabs inside of the connection so the tool is really the only option. Just go to autozone and get a set, but stay away from the PT brand the walls are too thin.

I concur, get the cheap little plastic tool and save yourself a major headache.

Make sure you get 3/8", which is the size you'll need.

I used an aluminum one from pep boys, set comes with 4 sizes and the 3/8 is what u need, I just read this post and went back to my car and removed it in less than 10 seconds. LS1 tech rocks!
