Default Do I need anything else for LS6 manifold replacement

I just got the actual manifold in and i am wondering if i need anything else. I have seen some places that you need to get coolant lines and have seen other places that you dont. Which is it? And also why

You do not need the coolant lines, you can just break off the ribs on the bottom of your ls6 intake. The lines will work though, its just cheaper the other way.
