Default Fast Intake Install question

hey , i just recieved my new fast intake i have a 98 ws6 and i attached a pic of what my question is about.. the hose that comes out of there, someone told me i could install the intake without putting that hose in, now my question is, how can it be done, and is it worth the head ach? thanks!

ahh i see i guess i will have to keep it 2.. thats sucks,, i guess there is not way to relocate it? because i see the 01 02 dont have it..

take it off man. when i put my headers on i removed both air and egr. took all of 1 hour to remove both.

no way to relocate it. you have to either delete it all or keep it.

they changed the cam slightly for 01/02, along with the LS6 intake...and were able to still make more power, without any increased emissions.

You could maybe gain a HP or two given the fact that the EGR tube goes through the intake and sits in the TB opening. There is a thread on here somewhere on how to modify the tube. Will it be a noticeable gain no not at all but then again every little bit counts somewhere.
