Default running 3inch TD and lowering car possible?

i have a 2000 ss with X pipe cats and flowmaster drag racing type mufflers that dump before the axle.....the mufflers hang kinda low and hit sometimes on speed bump type bumps so i'm going to tuck them up higher which shouldnt be an issue and at the same time i'm going to finish the exhaust so it makes it out to the back...it looks like i have room to run a pipe over the axles on each side of the axle...i just need to make a shield for the driver side over the axle to protect the wires and brake lines.....has anyone run true dual exhaust and lowered their car with out any issues?

3inch duals all the way to the axle, you really just have to change your driving habbits. Be a little more cautious over speed bumps and anything with a steep incline/decline. You'll be alright, lot's of guys run 3inch with lowered cars. If I had to do it again id go with 2.5inch piping or not lower the car as much.
