Question HELP. Pacesetter: 98-99 y-pipe vs 01-02 y-pipe? How to tell the difference????

I found a pacesetter ORY pipe for sale but the seller does not know if it belongs to a 98-99 or an 01-02 fbody.

He claims:

1) one set of ORY's has a hole on each side of the pipe.
2) other set has no holes.

so which ones belongs to an 01-02 car?
which belongs to a 98-99 car?

y pipes and egr systems dont have anything to do with each other. now headers and egr are a different story

here are the pics.

Ill be getting a set of headers soon. Which y-pipe will I need?

Why does one come with holes and the other does?

Are they both made for different applications?
