Question What is this DYNOmouth???

I have read in magazines about people customizing the SLP Loudmouth, by removing the muffler portion of the unit, and then replacing it with a Dynomax bullet-style muffler.

How does this affect the sound quality? HP gains?

Can this also be done with the new Flowmaster Hushpower muffler?

Thanx fer your help

Yes,you take a Loudmouth, cut off the resinator and replace it with a Dynomax Bullit(16").
It helps get rid of interior noise and idle is alittle quieter..I don't think the Flowmaster will fit there.

I recently installed a "BorlaMouth." The Borla XR1 offset muffler is probably as big as a Flowmaster, 14x8 inches. I made it fit where the LoudMouth resonator was by cutting out the "bucket" shape in the floor pan and welding in a flat piece of 16 gauge steel. This muffler is great; very mellow until you put your foot in it, then it really bellows! Also it's stainless steel so you never have to replace it.
