Had some work done to my car and I think the shop screwed something up when they reinstalled everything.. I had the car for the weekend last week, no issues.. Now when you shut the car off the key won't return to the off position, it stops 1/2 way between start and off. I have to jiggle it around and mess with the shifter and after a few tries it will come all the way back so I can remove the key. What I think is happening is the ignition does not know the car is in park, reason I think this is because I noticed today I can take the car out of park and through all the gears without my foot on the brake.. What should I check? ideas?
