Can anyone give me a write up on this? 2000 camaro LS1 alternator replacement... thanks!

disconnect negative
remove serpentine belt from pulley
jack up car
remove three bolts
remove harness
remove battery wire from alt
remove alt.

Then just do that in reverse order to get the new one in. Its too simple really.

OK i got the basics...What size is the tensioner and the bolts on the alternator?

i believe 2 large bolts on alt are 15mm, small bolt in back 10mm, batt positive nut 13mm.

i think the tensioner is a 15 also.
