Default another UDP question

I'm thinking of getting a 25% underdrive pulley soon but I was unsure of how it would effect my sound system. I had a custom system installed with a Stinger powercell in the back hooked up to my front battery. This powers my entire system, one amp for my dual 10" Memphis subs and another amp powering my speakers. Probably about 1800 watts total.

Now I'm pretty sure I'll be fine considering I can crank my system at a cookout for about an hour with the car off without any problems but I just wanted to make sure before I made a purchase.

Get an overdrive alternator pulley as well since you have a high drain system. Or a stronger alternator.

If I got an overdrive alternator pulley wouldn't that kinda defeat the purpose of getting an underdrive pulley? Sorry I'm still learning haha. How much would a upgraded alternator be?

you wont notice it with just the alt overdrive. your still slowing all your other accesories so the UDP is still doing its job. i have one waiting to go on b/c my system starts to pull too much if i am idle. i notice it more at night when my lights are on.
