Hook up engine puller and take a small bind, or a chain hoist or what ever you have access to that will hold the weight of the engine, loosen the bolts, remove and replace old with new, what are you replacing motor mounts on anyways. car ,truck , its all the same anyways..

Its for a trans am, with the turbo setup im running the downpipe tends to melt the stock mount so im going to have to go with a solid motor mount

You could jack up the motor from the bellhousing using a floor jack, or just put a block of wood under the oil pan and jack it up from there. Lift it enough to take the weight off the bolts through the mounts.
You'll probably have to move your starter and alternator to swap them. And make sure to disconect your intake (so you dont break it).

This is what I used to guide me through my first time installing Polys. Pretty much the same for Solids, you'll just have to skip the steps where you take apart the clamshell. Good luck. It can be a PITA, but you'll be glad you did it once you've finished.

I just swapped mine out with solids, alternator and starter removal made things so much easier...
