Exclamation Backfiring?

I get a lot of backfiring from my car, mostly when I downshit and the revs start to decline. I dont know why but it really bothers me. I have Jet Hot LT's, test pipe ( but it does it even with the cats in) and an SLP LM2. Any insight into why this is happening? HAs it happened to anyone else on here?

Do you Have AIR injection still hooked up? If so I think bad check valves can cause it, just a thought.

This is perfectly normal, and to a lot of us its pretty cool. My stock WS6 will occasionaly backfire with the stock exhaust if I bring her to 3K rpms and let off the gas and let her coast. Your forgeting you have a LS1 with free flowing exhaust

For example-SRT4 Neons didn't come with proper mufflers from the factory and "backfire" and pop all the time.
