Coolant Expansion tank for LS1, whats needed? The radiator ended up being a little lower than the engine in my application. I'm getting ready to build or purchase an expansion tank (not an overflow reservoir) to make the fill point higher than the engine, and to get rid of air pockets.
Other than connected to the engine output radiator hose, what else (additional engine coolant lines) should be ported to this tank? I want to make sure I've got enough ports on it, and have them the correct sizes.
