Easiest way to pull engine?
Sorry if this is in the wrong area.
I am going to replacing the rod bearings and main bearings in a 1998 firebird soon.. It has an LS1.
And Well I need to remove the engine.
Or do I?
Thanks.

yep gota pull the engine. easiest way ive found is from the bottom. If you have a car lift you can use it makes this process a sinch. check this link out. Great walkthrough http://www.myls1.com/showthread.php?t=1808. Are you replacing bearing because of knock? Were you getting bad oil pressure. Better make sure it didnt damage anyother parts while its out.

I am going to be replacing them because of a knock. A young kid owned the car. And I am assuming he did not leave the correct amount of oil in the car.
So on a scale of 1-10 what would you all rate this engine pull at?
