Pacesetter...install/dyno/track
Well, had a shop put them on saturday ($150 couldn't pass it up). Everything went smooth, he just lowered the rear of the tranny some to get the driver side header up to the engine. The rest of it went really smooth.
The shop was just finishing up a dyno day so I asked if I could get in on the rate. So 5 min after starting the car we threw it on the dyno.
mods on the dyno:
red: lt's, o/r y pipe, borla cat back, K&N, TSP Lid, GMAF
blue: same but without the GMAF
obviously the MAF works on my setup because it leans out the a/f raito which puts it in a better place, although not optimal.
then at the track on saturday i ran conistant 12.7's @ 111 mph with a best of 12.65 @ 111.2 on a 1.99 60 ft
the only issue is my driveside header is hitting the kmemeber or frame pretty bad. i just need to find time to get under there and make some clearance for the header.
overall, I am very happy with the headers. the car is damn loud...I'm thinking of putting one of the baffles in the borla.
