Unhappy Help no heat

dose anyone here know where the heater control valve is located in a 98 Trans am, or what it looks like? I have been trying to fix my heater because it will not blow hot air, itblows cold ALL the time. I have replaced the thermostat in my car thinking that it was the cause of my heater problem but it was not the culprit so my next step it to find that HCV but I cant find. If anyone could help me it would be great cause I going to be a COLD WEEK for me if I cant fix it.

Thanks

There is no HCV...

There is a cold/hot air door that is vacuum operated... maybe the vacuum hose is leaking.

the cold/hot door on my 99 was cable. only the bi-level doors were vac operated.

if i remember right. there is a cable that goes from the temp *** to the cold/hot door. you should be able to get to it if you remove the kick pannel under the glove box its close to the blower motor.

I stand corrected, the hot/cold door is cable operated, the bi-level doors are vacuum operated.

(I should have remembered this as I have dealt with it several times before...

Sorry for no pics, they just wouldn't load........ this is from alldata... You should be able to follow the cable from the back of the control **** to the other end where it controls the door.
