am looking to go ahead and get headers put on the Z and might as well redo the entire exhaust on the way back... for the price, what is a decent deal? and if I do headers, do I still do the Y pipe thing with CAT back system? or skip the Y pipe and go straight back with them? any advice would be appreciated

Most Headers require a new y-pipe.

I think a great setup(maybe pricey) would be Hooker LT's, the QTP catted Y, dual cutouts, and a Hooker catback. That would be a very nice system, maybe you could find a CME to run it through that would look very nice. For a whole system like this I would expect aroun 1500 bucks, however if you wanted to go with pacesetters you would reduce cost, I have heard pretty good feedback about Pacetters except on the Y the collecter is just 2 welded pipes. Either way...good luck
