How to tell different year throttle bodies apart?

How to tell different year throttle bodies apart? I need to know what visual clues I could use to tell a 98-99 throttle body from a 2000+....I have a throttlebody I recieved from a friend but he couldnt tell me what year LS1 it is off of....Thanx

Its a difference in the half moon shape disk on the passenger side of the TB. I think the old style is even and the newer styles come on slower at first then have a flat section so it gives WOT quicker but later.

Look very closely where the throttle cable rides in this 01 TB. Its a slight curve at first and about the last half inch the curve increases significantly.
