Default Front cover install procedure?

I have an LQ4 that i am doing a cam swap in. I have the motor on the stand with the oil pan off. What are the steps to installing the front cover and oil pan so there are no leaks? I thought there was a write-up on this but cant find it. Thanks fellas!

Default E Z solution

Put the oil pan back on.Apply small amount of sealant to corners where cover meets block and pan, Install cover with a few bolts, but dont tighten any of the cover bolts. Leave them loose enough so cover can be moved around if needed. Now install balancer so if there is any misalignment with the seal the balancer will help center it up.This is the biggest concern, getting the seal centered so it doesnt leak later. Once the bal.is on tighten the cover and you got it. Dont forget to torque the balancer correctly. Good luck.
